Our programs are designed to complement the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) standards used in local districts. We focus on reinforcing what is taught in the classroom to ensure your child stays on track.
To ensure your child stays on track, we follow a "3-Tier" Communication Cycle:
The Weekly Spark: You’ll receive a 2-minute "exit note" or digital message after every session highlighting one big win and one area for home practice.
The Monthly Deep Dive: A formal written progress report is sent home every 4 weeks.
The Quarterly Strategy Session: Every 9 weeks (aligned with grading periods), we schedule a 15-minute 1-on-1 meeting (in-person or Zoom) to pivot goals for the next term.
Grades K-2: Phonics, early literacy, and foundational number sense.
Grades 3-5: Reading comprehension, STAAR-aligned test strategies, and multi-step math problem-solving.
Sessions take place at our designated learning location or through Online Tutoring platforms that allow for flexible scheduling from home.
Jones Learning Academy Refund & Cancellation Policy
Cancellations & Rescheduling:
24-Hour Notice: To receive a session credit, you must cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time.
Late Cancellations: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice are non-refundable, as our tutors have reserved that time specifically for your child.
No-Shows: If a student doesn't join the scheduled session within the first 15 minutes, it will be considered a "no-show" and the full session fee will be charged.
Tutor Cancellations: If a tutor must cancel a session for any reason, a full refund for that session will be issued, or a makeup session will be scheduled at your convenience.

The registration and assessment fee is $50. These one-time costs are due at the time of enrollment to secure your child’s spot and cover the initial assessment.
